  • Differences between syllabus and actual contentZycheHey, I've just had a look at the syllabus. There are 19 modules listed in the syllabus, but in the course “Lean 2D Gamedev from zero with godot 4” there are currently only 10 modules. On 12.12.2024 the 10th module “path of Sorcerers” was completed. According to the syllabus, “path of Sorcerers” is actually the last 19th module.   • Tile-based moduleAttilaHi, Does this course cover tile-based games? One of your short 4.3 release videos on YouTube said that Godot 4.3 has been released just in time for your tile based module but I'm not sure if it meant this course or something else. Thanks, Attila 4 1 Aug. 29, 2024
  • rhythm idea for syllabus RyanEakin59871776So a random thought just entered my mind... I have seen top-down dungeon crawler, space shooter, bug-fiximg, tower defense, and also dialogue... But what about rhythm and timing games? These would be beneficial because then it would teach how to tighten up actions and reactions... As well as be a good example of how Godot deals with timings of certain events within the game engine. I wonder what you would think about something akin to Friday night funkin, or dance dance revolution as an example of how to do the timing just right... ModulesSpyroHello, I realize there are free posts concerning some design patterns including the state pattern but will there be any modules regarding implementing A.I. using techniques/patterns including but not limited to finite state machines, behavior trees, or small scale utility A.I. for prioritizing states?
