  • Shaders Introduction Module?SkyBlueSihaI know it was asked in the 2D course, but maybe a small module on Shaders would be more appropriate here in the 3D course? Shaders of course can be used in a 2D or 3D setting, but I find that Shaders are more heavily used typically in a 3D setting. For example: Water effects, Environmental Effects, Visual Status Effects, and just in general how the engine renders light and shadows (its amazing for people who want to go for a Toon Style). It's a great tool for developers to be able to express their artistic vision as well as improve performance. I think it might be too complex a subject to fully explain in just a module alone (tho I would love to see it), but even just an introduction on using them in small cases could be great to help encourage developers to go out on their own to learn more. (And maybe it would pave the way for people to in the future buy a full course from you guys if you ever decide to make a whole course on the subject, which I would love to see with your teaching style) (Also I apologize in advance if you guys already have implemented any of the above, I'm still going through the 2D course myself, and was just glancing ahead to see what's on the roadmap) Anyway, I thought I'd throw my two cents out, thanks for all of your hard work!!
