  • The version of the alternate arms rendering solution with the subviewport is incompleteTazerrtotI managed to get it to work, but a lot of things were missing- there was no "player_viewport" scene, just the "player_skin_viewport" scene, which has everything in a subviewport, but no player controller. Also had to mess with cameras, directional light, and the VisualInstance3D layers on the arms mesh. Lastly I had to connect it to the player controller. Probably wasn't left like this intentionally, but it turned into a challenge that helped me understand what it's doing better anyway. 0 0 Apr. 27, 2025
