material_override vs materialMarcJI don't remember if this was covered before but when should you use material_override over material? I also see material_overlay which I believe is used mostly for adding effects on top of existing materials but it's not clear to me what the use case is for material vs material_override.21Apr. 19, 2025
Can't tween material_overrideTazerrtotI couldn't get it to tween the material_override on the moving platform, but the material was tweening fine, and I did a bunch of stuff to work around it, but realized it may have been mentioned in the lesson when the moving platform was created- I don't think it was specified where to put the material on the csgbox, but the lesson here assumes we put it in the material override when at the very least I didn't; I assigned it to the material.00Apr. 27, 2025
