About moving nodes to the center of the screenhumble-pelicanIs there any other way to align or center the nodes more accurately when moving them? For example, the alignment tool in Photoshop? By the way, thank you for the carefully prepared course, which helped me, a beginner, to make rapid progress.61May. 31, 2024
Is the main.theme the same as main_theme.tres?TheKmankJust checking that main.theme is the same as if you had main_theme.tres, the difference is just that one is binary and one is readable?11May. 15, 2024
Incorrect info about selecting VBoxContainerdatiswous> If you try selecting the VBoxContainer node in the viewport, you'll see that you're selecting the buttons instead.
This is incorrect I think. When I select the VBoxContainer, the buttons are not selected.20Nov. 19, 2024
Theme is not automatically applied to buttonsdatiswousIn the video example buttons automatically get styling when you add the buttons under the hboxcontainers. In my situation this does not happen and I don't see why it would.

Individual distancesram876I didn't like that you can't individually align the buttons in width, so I searched and found that you can create a new HBoxContainer or VBoxContainer node between the buttons, or you can put buttons in them and adjust the castom minimum while the width of the buttons does not change. It may be wrong to do this, but it works.50Oct. 17, 2024
Separation not workingasricbI'm trying to change the separation of the buttons, overriding the *Separation* property and set it to `20`, but nothing happens20Jul. 25, 2024
open to typo feedback?puzzled-magpieHi, I'm using text to speech to read most of the text in the course. So I sometimes hear typos in the text. Is it helpful if I point those out? Or are you not too concerned with small error ( which I would understand ). For example in the speech bubble: *"Do you notice all the nodes with a little `%` sign next to them? That's right, they are nodes we will use **those** in our code."*20Jun. 20, 2024
A small typoMuseDoesHi, I think I found a small typo in the second to the paragraph in the Recap section.
"...Naturally, as [we] progress through the course, we'll repeat basic operations like creating nodes..."
At least I think there should be a 'we' there.
As a side note, I thought I'd say thanks again for making these courses. I love all of the care you all have put into them. Especially all of the fast feedback on our questions and comments down here. (^v^)

No automatic type hints when creating @onready variables.DargorIn the last step, when creating the @onready variables by dragging them, type hints are not automatically created as in the shown example.
Edit: Found the option in Editor > Editor Settings > Text Editor > Completion. Toggle on Add Type Hints20May. 22, 2024
The image scene duplication for expressions has the scriptGurkJust a little nitpick in this one, but during the duplication of the dialog node to expressions, we are told to remove the extra nodes and the script attach to the parent node. The image displayed as the result shows the script is still there.
Sorry for poking for a little thing like this D:10May. 16, 2024
Can the separation be controlled to have items "centered" ?ChuckityChuckThe separation controlled in the constants of the themes is added at the end of every element inside the container, misaligning objects. Could this be controlled automatically or is a work that needs to be done by hand? Thanks!20May. 15, 2024
